On the Diamond Defense Podcast, co-hosted by Lisa Thew and Kellie Yvonne Raines, we're going to be talking all things women's safety and self-defense. We'll be offering tips, tricks, & strategies for staying safe out there. Plus we'll also be hearing from a lot of ladies who, maybe just like you, have a story to tell that could help keep someone else safer.
Our first episode "Awareness" addresses our very first line of self-defense, our instincts, and delivers some truly impactful stories that pack a punch we can all learn from.
Watch for Episode 2, "Confidence," to drop on Saturday, 9/13. We'll get into why confidence is actually a form of self-defense, and how it can deter predators. Our guest storyteller, Kelley, recounts a very scary experience in Chicago where she had to muster up all her confidence to stay safe.
If you have any feedback on the podcast, or feel inspired to share your own story, let us know!
Your story matters, and it could help someone else stay safer. If you're interested in sharing, just give us a brief description, and we'll reach out if it fits into a theme for an upcoming episode. All storytellers may remain as anonymous as they'd like. We're also happy to read a written story if you'd prefer not to have your voice recorded.
